May 21.  6:55am in front of a picture window on the sixth floor of the Oberoi Hotel overlooking the Delhi Golf Club practice greens.  The golfers, out before the heat of the day sets in, make arcing swings on the driving range, while behind them others fine tune their putts on the green.  Acres of lush tree tops roll out over the city, where enormous hawks stake out their territory of the expanse.

Life is good.

The Fall Collection is complete and went into production yesterday.

Let me report on the new pieces: bulky statement cuffs with large semi-precious stones and druzy, statement pendants finished on cord and on heavy links, gold and silver link necklaces and bracelets, large clip-ons that cover nearly half the ear--perfect with fall tweeds and knits, sweaters, blazers, and the layered winter fabrics.

India is the mother of all jewelry, the fecund Venus of Willendorf, that mysterious place where fertile creativity originates, the one place in the world where one can be enormously free to experiment with design, and realize idea upon idea. 

I leave you with two images: a flower petal creation that appeared on the floor of my hotel room one evening when I returned late from dinner with local friends.  The second is of two new styles of clip-on hoops from the Fall Collection. Yes, we listened to your requests for clip-on hoops and designed these for you.
